A Legacy of Excellence: The Learning Experience® (TLE) was established in the state of Florida in 1979 by Michael and Linda Weissman. Between '79 and '89 they operated eight centers in Florida including one at the Kennedy Space Center. Their son Richard joined the company and helped develop the company franchise system. Together they grew their original company Tutor Time to more than two million square feet of build to suit locations. This represented a capacity for more than 40,000 children in nearly 200 operating units in 24 states and 4 countries. That company subsequently became the fourth largest childcare operation in the United States and the largest franchisor of childcare centers in the world. Under their management, national publications named the company as the top childcare franchise.

New Beginnings: In 2001, the Weissmans re-entered the childcare business under their original brand name, The Learning Experience®. To the best of our knowledge, TLE is currently the fastest growing childcare center operator in the United States. It is one of the few childcare operators in the country where management has direct hands on experience with the day-to-day operations of the business.

TLE Today: The Learning Experience® (TLE) management team has been involved in building more than 200 childcare centers in 24 states and 4 countries.
